About You

Assessment

1. This goal is a "nice to have," but honestly, my life is functioning fine without it.

2. I suspect that even if I put in the work, the external environment (market, system, family) will block the result.

3. I know what needs to be done, but I just don’t have the energy or bandwidth to pull it off right now.

4. There are far more urgent "fires" I need to put out before I can worry about this.

5. Many people in my position struggle with this exact issue; it’s just the nature of the reality we are in.

6. I feel like I am missing a critical personality trait or natural talent required to succeed at this.

7. If I look at the big picture of my life, this issue is actually quite small or insignificant.

8. I’ve seen others try to solve this and fail; it seems like a systemic dead-end.

9. I’m worried that if I start this, I won’t have the discipline to sustain it, so why start?

10. Everyone else seems to make a big deal out of this, but I think the issue is overblown.

11. The resources or solutions required to fix this simply don't exist or aren't available to me.

12. Deep down, I question if I really deserve to achieve this level of success or change.

13. I can live with things the way they are; the "pain" of the current situation isn't that bad.

14. No matter what strategy is used, this particular problem is too complex to be fully solved.

15. I am not the "expert" here; I need to wait until I know more before I can act.

16. This isn't the right time to tackle this; I’ll wait for a better window of opportunity.

17. It is unrealistic to expect this situation to change given the history of the problem.

18. I’ve tried before and didn't succeed, which proves that this is likely not my forte.

19. To be honest, the negative consequences of ignoring this for a while longer are manageable.

20. The constraints I am under (budget, rules, culture) are too rigid to allow for any real movement.

21. I simply don't have the mental resilience right now to deal with the potential failure.

22. I've operated this way for years without major catastrophe, so I don't see the need to disrupt things now.

23. The logic for change is sound, but the "real world" proves that this specific problem is usually a dead end.

24. I need to take another course or get more certification before I can legitimately tackle this.
